Biography

Son of Robert Scott of Coudhouse or Coldhouse and his wife Margaret nee Chisholme. Baptised in Peebles in 1784. Inherited a share in Thomas's River, North Hall, Health Crawl and Breadland Pen in Clarendon, Jamaica, from his uncle William Chisholme who died in 1802.

  1. May 7 1811. At Purneah in Bengal, [death of] Thomas Chisholme Scott, Register of Purneah, eldest son of the Rev. Robert Scott of Coldhouse.
