Biography

Merchant of London. Married to Wilhelmina Miller daughter of Capt. WIlliam Miller. Died 'due to disease' in 1820, leaving an only child.

  1. Will of William Shedden of Wimpole Street proved 14/03/1820. He left his wife Wilhelmina the use of his house in Wimpole Street for life and instructed his trustees to buy as many of the 3% consols as would yield her £1000 p.a. The rest of his estate he left in trust for his [unnamed] children. His trustees were his brothers George Shedden and Bartlett Bridger Shedden.
